Regular classes
Learning NEST regular educational program in the field of diverse artistic practices is based on dance with occasional musical content. Is offers activities for both amateur dancers and professionals. Regular classes and accompanying workshops on dance, music, and flamenco theory are led by dancer and pedagogue Urška Centa, while flamenco dance classes for older generations are taught by pedagogue Mojca Medvedšek. The content of the courses follows the principle of intertwining practical knowledge with a broader understanding of flamenco as an art form, both past and present. Regular movement-research gatherings with a focus on contemporary dance techniques, improvisation, and composition are led by dancers and pedagogues Kristýna Peldová, Sara Janašković, Anemaria Bagarić, and Tina Habun. Contemporary dance with elements of acrobatics is taught by April Veselko. The content is based on improving the understanding of human body movement and the effective use of one’s own anatomical structures.
